Baden bei Wien, not far from Vienna is a charming Great Spa Town, famous of course for it's "golden" healing spa waters, but also as a vibrant cultural centre. With internationally famous museums, art galleries and photography festivals as well as a lively theatre programme, there is something for everyone. After relaxing in the baths or enjoying thermal water treatments, visitors can also follow in the footsteps of many famous visitors of the past, exploring the Kurpark and its extensive woodlands - with excellent views towards the Alps from the picturesque pavilions above the town.
